A Variety of Delivery Systems for Used Stahl Folding Machines

The Stahl Folding Machine can be integrated with a variety of delivery systems. This enables in catering to the precise individual needs of the printing press. Here’s some information on the various delivery systems that can be combined with Stahl machines:

STA 40

This small format delivery system is just perfect for processing small-sized products of up to a length of two centimeters and thickness of four millimeters. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry for making multiple folded packaging inserts.

SAF / SAK / SAL

This universal equipment can process various formats, shapes, and product thicknesses. It is also possible to adjust the infeed height and conveyor speed to get optimum results.

SPH 70 / 100

These units come outfitted with a pair of pressing rollers that aid in deflating the air from the folded products, thereby resulting in sharper folds. This procedure makes it easier to unload the products to the pallet. It also aids in generating exceptional quality. They also possess a height adjustable infeed section.

SBP 46 / 66 / 86

Featuring a high storage capacity for folded / bound products, this equipment is an ideal choice for processing medium to large formats. Further, it is also fully capable to cater to delicate papers as well as multiple-ups. There is an integrated control panel which controls all the functions, thereby making it much easier for the pressman to carry out the operations seamlessly. Further, the inbuilt pressing unit enhances the quality of folding.

Palamides alpha 500 / 700 hd

This is a great choice for industrialized production. It collects all the folded products and transfers them to the output table in a jogged and piled manner. It not only generates exact piles, but also renders mark-free products, even in high capacity runs. Further, it requires only one pressman to operate the unit.

Palamides delta

This delivery unit is capable of carrying out a number of activities in a streamlined fashion, starting right from pressing, stacking, jogging, to banding. The good news is that it can be easily operated by a single pressman.

All About Bobst Die Cutting Machines

Before diving straight into the deep waters, let's try to get accustomed to swimming in safe waters. In short let's try to understand what Die cutting is all about and from where it originally originated.

Die Cutting

Die cutting wasn't originally came into existence with the purpose of catering the craft industry, the real intentions couldn't have been more different! In the 1800s, the shoe manufacturing was extensively labor-intensive, requiring the workers to manually cut the leather soles for shoes. To be precise it wasn't a very efficient way of working, the task was not only exhausting and time consuming, but the soles weren't replicated half as symmetrical as they needed to be.

There is nothing like standardized shoe sizes back in those days, and it wasn't even possible until the launch of die cutting machines that they finally found the aid for this splurging problem. This new discovery allowed the shoe makers to make templates for different sizes of soles to produce a precise replica using a die-cutting machine and guess what mass production was introduced to the world.

From then to now die cutting machines have come a long way. Today these machines are more compact, fast, efficient and highly multifunctional. But it isn't only the machines that have undergone massive change, die itself has evolved to a greater extent. Dies are now made of wafer thin material and feature complex designs and patterns, provide far more finishing and intricacy in cutting.

Now moving on let's divulge ourselves into the world of numerous die cutting machines. Starting with…..
Offset Printing Machines

Manual Die Cutting machines

These are die cutting machines that literally work like a butter cutter. Cutting dies are purchased separately to be fitted in the machines, which in turn cut the desired material. Cutting dies are available in all shapes, sizes, designs and patterns. There are few companies all around the globe that cater customized die designs.

Digital Die Cutting Machines

Digital die cutting machines are somewhat similar to digital printing machines. These machines are digital and cut designs similarly to how printer prints. In this method, the designs can be sent to a digital die cutting machine either through cartridge, in  which the device is already pre-equipped with the designs that plugs into the machine or through a computer, where designs can be freshly created or downloaded using special software's.

Electronic Die cutting machines

Electronic Die cutting machines diminishes the need of extensive labor, though they are massively expensive. These machines work in a similar way to manual die cutters, the only difference being that they do not employ typical crank system and instead work with a motor, wherein once you have inserted the die plate into the mouth of the machine, it'll pull it through automatically, putting pressure on the die to carve out the design.

Die Cutting Machine Operations

Die cutting machines also come in multiple variants that can do more than just cut. There are few additional capabilities that die cutting machines have depending upon the type of machine.

Cut
Cutting is a standard feature on most die cutting machines. Some machines can cut shapes as small as a quarter of an inch.
Cut-by-color
Some digital die cutting machines can trace the region colors and cut through outlines around them.
Draw
On some digital die cutting machines, the blade can be replaced with a type of marker to draw the pattern instead of cut.
Pierce
Piercing involves making deep holes in the material.
Engrave
Engraving involves carving or cutting designs on a thick  surface.
Emboss
Embossing is a standard feature on manual die cutting machines. It involves creating 3D designs on a surface, giving the design a raised, defined and “pop-out” effect.

If you are interested in purchasing a die cutting machine, Good Machine is specialized in delivering Used Bobst Die Cutting Machines of different companies under one roof.

All There is to Know About Flying Paster & its Components

Used Bobst Die Cutting Machines
Those on the lookout of a used Komori printing machines dealer in czech may get in touch with Goodmachine
In the printing industry, a flying paster is responsible for ensuring continuous production on the web press. It basically works on the phenomenon of pasting an expiring roll into the next one so that the press can run continuously, without slowing down or taking a halt. The term ‘flying’ refers to its attribute of accelerating the roll to the same speed of the press, followed by the splicing task. In fact, it performs the same functions of a zero speed splicer. Large presses come equipped with either of the two. Flying pasters are generally found on the high speed presses. Listed below are the components that make up a flying paster:

1.  Roll Stand
The roll stand is responsible for mounting and holding the rolls in position. Ideally, a flying paster will be capable of holding two to three rolls, wherein one would be running on the press, and the other two would be ready for splicing.

2.  Dancer Roll

Also known as the floating roller, this part of the unit aids in pulling the paper from the roll and ensuring control on the brake holding the roll. Its primary purpose is to control the amount of paper being released from the roll and being fed to the press. Simultaneously, it also maintains the tension between itself and the roll.

3.  Metering Roller

The function of a metering roller is to make sure that the press receives tension consistently.

4.  Web Sensors

There are sensors located on each side of the web, which indicate the exact location of the roll. These sensors can be adjusted so as to enable the flying paster to move the roll accordingly.

5.  Splicer

The splicer is responsible for joining the moving roll to the new one with the help of a special piece of two-sided tape.  When the roll reaches the speed of the press, the splicer presses the expiring roll onto the tape, and then quickly cuts it through.
